The Arlington High School Band Booster Club will be raising funds this season at Rangers Ballpark in Arlington, beginning on July 2 and working through August 29. to sign up. No previous experience is necessary to work at the concession stand, unless you intend to manage the stand. Training is required only for those individuals responsible for managing the stand and those that plan to work at the portable beer stand. For training information, see below.
Current Needs (as of Aug 28): We complete the final home stand on August 29 and have all regular worker spots filled.
If the Rangers make the playoffs, we will need help for playoff home games.
Please see the schedule (link below).
Worker Schedule
Report Times: Concession stand workers are normally requested to report to the Ballpark three (3) hours prior to game time if at all possible. If you are working and cannot report early or have transportation problems, please notify your manager (who will contact you in advance of the game you are scheduled to work).
Parking: AHSBBC Concession workers are allowed to park in the Galactic lot (southeast of the Chapman Cut off/Stadium Drive intersection) free of charge on the day they work. The lot manager requests that workers park near the center to rear of the lot and not take up the premium spaces from paying customers.
Manager & Beer Sales Training:
Training time for the AHSBBC managers and beer portable workers is upon us. This year, Tommy Greene is the Ballpark Chairman for AHSBBC, taking over for David Smith, who has held the position the last two seasons.
We need more stand managers and beer portable workers this season! If you are able to be a concession stand manager for the AHSBBC this season, or plan to work at the beer portable, please review the information below and contact Tommy Greene at least to RSVP to the training class you wish to attend. Tommy will then RSVP to Mary Rivers (DNC non-profit group coordinator) in order for you to be on the class roster.
