March 9th Booster Club Meeting at 7:00 PM.
Booster Dates
Monday, March 1st, will begin the AHS Band Colt Card Fundraiser. This discount card only costs $10. Some of the participating businesses include Chilis, Fuzzy’s Tacos, Buck ’n Loons, and Ice at the Parks. If your child is going on the band trip, their Colt Card sales will help lower the cost of the trip. If your child is not going on the trip, the money they raise will go toward the purchase of a new projector for the band hall. Please ask your son/daughter about the fundraiser, and help support the Colt Band.
Saturday, March 27th, 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. -- AHS Band Parking Lot Sale and Car Wash. Please start saving items for donation!!! I will email the sign up sheets for the students to Mr. Burum closer to the date. We will need band parents to help with both of these. Maybe they could sign up to work a two hour shift?? Band parents: Please at least come let the kids wash your car.
April 2010 -- Spring Cookie Dough Sales. Please watch for forms to come home with your student in April. Our fall cookie dough sales went very well. Thank you to all who supported the band !!

TMEA—Region 5 Band Division
To: All TMEA Region 5 Honor Band Participants:
Congratulations on earning a position in one of the largest and most prestigious regions in the state of Texas. Our tryout procedure began with over 1,500 students from 15 schools. The 4 honor bands will meet together January 15th and 16th, 2010 at two locations in preparation for the 2010 Region 5 Bands concert at Trinity HS in Euless. You will enjoy the conductors for each of the bands and we hope this will be an informative and enjoyable experience for everyone.
